This post features the lovely Steve Madden ‘Surfside’ sandal. It is similar to the platform sandals that are all the rage. I would say this one is more wearable because the wedge is not as skyhigh as the others, but at the same time, it is a sizeable wedge. It has an ankle strap design and your feet do not look too stuffy for the hot summer weather.

If you are someone who wants a boost in height (like me!) but high wedges and high heels make your feet hurt, I suggest platform shoes in general. They give you a boost in height while also keeping your feet flat and comfortable!

This design comes in many different colors, but I chose black because I felt like white would get dirty too easily, and black is extremely versatile! These wedges will go with anything from shorts, to sundresses, and even jeans.

I have to be sure to have colorful toes when I wear these! In fact, we all do for all sandals in the summer time!
