One of my favorite parts of every year used to be the “back to school” season. I loved getting supply lists and shopping for new school supplies each year. To this day I am still a huge stationery fan (I can hardly resist a good notebook)! Aside from the school supplies, another exciting part was choosing a backpack. I felt like a backpack defined the whole year from the start because I would be using it every day. I had to make sure my backpack was stylish, functional, and versatile.

In this post I will be sharing with you my backpack picks and hopefully inspiring you or making the search easier for the upcoming school year!

1. Herschel Supply Co

I bought this backpack for my freshman year of college. I was over prints and wanted a simple backpack. I wanted to be more sophisticated because I was entering college and because I was a business major. I went with gray to match my new Macbook and Beats. Herschel backpacks are all over campus—they are great and there is a variety of colors and styles.

2. Cath Kidston

My parents brought me back this beautiful Cath Kidston backpack right before my senior year. The print is so lovely and feminine and the style was right along the lines of my backpack from Korea from the previous year. The only downside to a white backpack is that it will get dirty quickly from the dirty high school floors. I always had too much stuff in my backpack to keep it behind me.

3. Korean floral backpack

Middle school was the Jansport days. If you walked the hallways you would spot all different colors of the same backpack. I think I’ve owned two or three of them. Then before entering high school, I visited Korea and was inspired by the backpacks that were in the stores. They were rectangular in shape with handles to carry and I fell in love with the floral designs. I walked into high school with this trendy backpack and used it well over the years.

4. Longchamp

The Longchamp Le Pliage Nylon bag is great for a college. It is large enough to fit a laptop and cute to carry around campus. I usually carry this around on days that I don’t need as much.

Which bag would you carry around school/campus? Do you have a backpack for this year?
